Sometimes & Always #5

Sometimes I have this crazy.awesome idea that I just can't wait to implement.

Always do I realize that I have a lot of crazy.awesome ideas that are already in line before it.  (I wonder what this says about me?)

Sometimes I have the idea for a really fun outfit.

Always does Duncan look at me like a monkey dressed me.

Sometimes I get home from a long day and just want a cup of tea.

Always will I hit the couch and not get back up again.... even for tea.... 

Sometimes I get so gung-ho about politics that I think I should go in to politics.

Always will it end up making me too cross to ever actually consider it.

Sometimes I need something to snuggle with when I sleep (we've talked about how I don't know what to do with my arms, right?), so I use a pillow or part of the comforter -- or sometimes a creature like Liam.

Always do I prefer to sleep on my back with out a pillow under my head (making it useless to have something to snuggle with anyways... well, except Liam, he still finds a way to sneak in his required snuggle time -- even if it means curling up in the curvature between my shoulder and my head).

Sometimes & Always #4

Sometimes I think that people think that Duncan and I are in an unhappy relationship when they see how we act in restaurants : we hate PDA and we often are on our phones with conversations in between.

Always do I remind myself that sometimes you can't judge a book by it's cover.  You see, we tell each other anything and everything, we share dreams and thoughts, both positive and negative.  He's my best friend and he often makes me laugh.  So, sometimes, when we get to a restaurant for a "date," we just kind of want to sit there in peace, doing our own thing because life tends to be so busybusyrushrush and at restaurants we are able to sit, think, and catch up on emails or blogs.  I mean, we most likely had a long, in depth conversation in the car ride there, anyways!

Sometimes I wish there were more padded shirts or something of the sort because sometimes I just would prefer to not wear a bra.

Always do I prefer to wear full-coverage panties (no, not granny panties, the cute bikini cuts).

Sometimes I want to send out snail mail to loved ones.

Always do I get totally thrilled to receive nonjunk snail mail and emails.

Sometimes & Always #3

Sometimes I steal Duncan's nude/tan socks if I know I'll be wearing an outfit with pants that reveal the socks I'm wearing with flats or similar shoes.

Always do my fur-babies warm my heart whenever I come home.

Sometimes when laying in bed if I can't sleep I sit there and wonder what the heck I am supposed to do with my arms.... I really should invest in something to snuggle with at night.

Always is it the perfect beginning to my day when I snuggles with my babies (namely Liam, the best snuggler in the world!).

Sometimes I walk in to a store with every intent of making it a "quick" trip ("in and out, Amy!").

Always will I leave said store two, sometimes three, hours later.  (Semi-embarrassing confession, it's normally Super Walmart (in addition to Michael's or Jo-Anns)! -- I have to go through all the sections to make sure I see all the great deals.  Some of my favorite and most used appliances are from Walmart and I love a great deal!).

Sometimes Duncan drives me crazy.


Always will he soon remind me why I'm marrying him, though.

Happy New Years' Eve!

Duncan & I have decided to not brave the crowds & traffic (plus, we're homebodies at heart) and are watching movies, cracking open a Moscato Asti Spumante (two of my favorite alcoholic beverages combined in one delicious drink courtesy of Barefoot), and maybe doing some light cooking while playing with Liam, Callie, & Shelby. 

We met up with some great friends last night and I'm hanging out with some family tomorrow, so I'm kind of looking forward to having a chill night (plus, my favorite NYE's have been ones spent doing little except enjoying whomever's company to which I am blessed with that year).

What are your plans to ring in 2012?

Sometimes & Always #2

Sometimes I want to live on a farm with chickens, goats, cats, dogs, and plenty of space to raise some kiddos.

Always must I have nail polish on my toes.

Sometimes I get a strange urge to make up a fantastic cookie recipe from scratch.

....Always will I chicken out and remind myself I'm not the best baker in the world.

Sometimes I want to chop off all my hair (it's long by the way), donate it, and go for a just-off-the-shoulder do.

...Always do quite a few people talk me out of it (maybe after the wedding!).

Sometimes I can't get myself off the computer, but sometimes I go a few days without turning my computer on.

Always is it practically impossible for me to get out of bed in the morning (I always hit the snooze button at least three times).

Sometimes & Always #1

Sometimes I enjoy a nice cup of boiled water mixed with organic raw honey and a dash of cinnamon.  Delicious and extremely healthy (packed with lots of health benefits!).

Always do I leave my feet out of the covers when I sleep.  For some reason, they do not like being bundled up.

Sometimes I crave watching a documentary: nature, science, history, or medicine please.

Always am I willing to watch a great action or thriller movie.

Sometimes I am perfectly content eating a pb&j with milk.

Always will I accept an offer to go to Subway, Jimmy Johns, or Wich Wich.

Sometimes I clean when I can't sleep at night.

Always do I procrastinate cleaning when it is daytime.


Sometimes Often I fall asleep to a movie on the couch around 9pm.

Always do I seem to be daydreaming about my next "great" idea/project/craft/recipe/etc.
